Resources in General

I often get parents and patients who ask me if I knew about certain resources.

Obviously there are many resources out there and some of my peers only share resources by medical organizations such as The Canadian Pediatric Society, the Canadian Medical Association and so on. The thinking is that these sites are peer-reviewed and thus free from “contamination” or bias.

I take another approach. I visit sites suggested to me first, scan them, and if they are reasonable I let visitors to my site decide for themselves if it is useful.

Here is a recent site which was brought to my attention and I gladly share it (I do not endorse any particular site but share it simply as a resource worth looking at)

http://www.themedifastplan.com/feature-articles/nutrition-for-kids-activities-webquests/ (This site, although based posted by Slimfast, still managed to “park” other sites in one place and that makes it useful)
