iPhones at age ……

I was blessed to have been the first author on Children and the Media when the Canadian Pediatric Society published its first paper on children and media. There is only one problem….at that timeĀ  there were no smart phones. Now there are.

It means a parent has a choice. Let you child as young as one year use it…or not

My advice is plain and simple: do not let a child that young use a smart phone.

Three reasons for this:

—read a book instead. The return on investment is higher

—Go outside. Fresh air is one of those things we can never get too much of

—It may affect his or her sleep.

Tried to be more direct or simple….but it came down to these three points. Headlines….. Take home ideas.

The ball is now in your court
